Default Why is my Acer Aspire 5100 laptop running so hot?

Currently own a Acer Aspire 5100 AMD Turion64 X2 laptop that gets so hot, actually, I can't put it on my leg.after 20 minutes, the screen got it freeze, even external monitor got the same result..... I am trying to find a quiet one that keeps things cool.
Thank you.

A: Sound like the CPU is overheating, due to the added load on it from such processor intense games. If the CPU cooling fan is still spinning, that it's become clogged between the fan and the heatsink it cools, thus reducing the airflow.....
