The Samsung laptops do not support 5400rpm hard drives?

Q: I heard that the Samsung laptops sometimes do not support 5400rpm hard drives. Is it true?

A: Samsung P10-25 have the problem of not supporting 5400rpm hard drive very well. Most of the P10-25 would have the problem of not recognizing the hard drive. Use a hard drive to test it out if possible.
